Course information
This course consists of two days which can be used towards a UCAPD- Massage in a Sports Environment qualification awarded by Teesside University (University Module Code PHY1013-N).
The course is delivered at THE Centre, 33 The Parade, Cardiff CF24 3AD
The course structure:
Part B - 2 days core skills, studied alone for those wishing to learn or revist their skills.
The programme includes all the core elements required by the Professional Body - Effleurage, Petrissgae, Tapotement, Vibrations, Dermal Lifting, Frictions, Passive Stretching & Compressions. In total 33 different handskills will be introduced under the methods outlined. Half of the skills will be taught in Part A and half in Part B. More advanced soft tissue techniques including Specific Stretch/STR, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Techniques can also be studied for details see CPD Courses.
