Sports Performance Services Ltd has been established since 1991 and our courses are designed to produce sports massage practitioners of high calibre. The sports massage education that we offer meets the standards required for Level 4 membership of the Sports Massage Association, the professional body for sports massage in the UK.

In partnership with University of Teesside we offer the first ‘stand-alone’ sports massage education programme in the UK to be placed in the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ).  The education programme provided by SPS at our Cardiff, Nottingham, Gloucester and Sunderland venues will be eligible for the award of University Certificate of Advanced Professional Development (UCAPD) by University of Teesside.  In addition, we have developed an additional education module that will be eligible for the award Certificate of Higher Education (Cert HE) by University of Teesside.

The SPS Diploma course, which is awarded by Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR) will continue to be provided by our partners at Southern School of Massage Training (SSMT) and University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC).

Both UCAPD and SPS/OCR Diploma qualify for Level 4 membership of SMA.
