Changes to First Aid Training

Changes to First Aid Training - 

On 1st Oct 09, changes will take place to First Aid Training and Qualifications.  The 'Appointed Person' First Aid qualification will be re-named 'Emergency First Aid at Work' (EFAW).  Despite the name change, course content will remain the same and the award will last for 3 years. However, there will be the opportunity, (not compulsory), to attend a 1/2 day refresher training event each year.

In addition, the 4 day First Aid at Work qualification will be reduced to a 3 day course.
