Feedback from the Alps. Last year, we advertised a job on our Classified page for sports massage therapists to go and work for a company called Massage Me based in the French Alps. They were so pleased with the standard of our students, they sent the following feedback which we wanted to share with everyone.

National Occupational Standards (NOS) describe skills, knowledge and understanding needed to undertake a task or job to a nationally recognised level of competence.  Employers use NOS to describe skills they need in the workplace.  Awarding bodies and education providers also use NOS to develop training and qualifications.

ISA We reported back in Sepember 2009 regarding the Government's introduction of a new registration scheme for practitioners involved in healthcare.  July 2010 was to have seen the commencement of registration, however, the new Government last week announced a suspension of registration pending a review of the whole safeguarding scheme.
